COVID-19 has had a big impact on many people’s lives, including financial stresses, relationship difficulties, bereavement, isolation and loneliness. In response to the pandemic, we have secured several sources of funding to provide professional support to those facing challenges with their mental health.
Our large team of experienced counsellors work with people facing all kinds of challenges. Professional support can go a long way to help you cope during difficult times, to make sense of what you are experiencing and overcome barriers – which can impact your wellbeing.
Counselling gives the opportunity to explore your thoughts, feelings & actions, challenge & manage unhelpful thoughts, learn coping strategies & find ways to move forward.
Our counsellors are registered with either BACP, UKCP or similar accrediting body. These organisations are accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) meaning they’ve met the PSA’s required professional standards to practice. We can also work with young people age 7 plus.
We are able to offer free counselling thanks to funding from the Voluntary Services Emergency Fund provided by WCVA, the Welsh Government’s Mental Health Recovery Fund, The British Medical Association and the Barclays 100×100 UK COVID-19 Community Relief Programme.
