Hello, my name is Hayley, and I am a qualified Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist.
I have much experience in working with people from a caring perspective having been a practising doctor in the NHS for many years. As a therapist, I value the deeper connections made with clients, the holistic nature of the work, and respect that you are the expert in your own life.
I use elements of Humanistic/Existential, Psychodynamic and CBT theoretical models, tailoring to best suit your needs.
I believe however that the therapeutic relationship itself is the most important part of the healing process. I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you may feel heard and understood. I will work collaboratively with you, exploring the issues that are troubling you, enabling you to bring about meaningful changes to your life.
I have experience in working with people with anxiety, low self-worth, bereavement, relationship difficulties, depression, past trauma, and sexual health-related issues.
I enjoy reading, spending time outside, walking my dog, running and also practise Yoga and meditation regularly and have recently joined a choir.
