I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a fully qualified Systemic counsellor, achieving first-class honours from the University of South Wales. I work with adults who are struggling with a range of mental health issues and previously worked with the mental health charity Swansea Mind as a counsellor.
My practice focuses on working with people to help them to better understand their problems and work towards leading happier, more fulfilling lives. Working together, we can build a strong therapeutic relationship so that you feel as comfortable and supported as possible during counselling.
As a systemic counsellor, I am interested in the relationships a person has in their life, including the relationship they have with themselves. Understanding these relationships can help an individual to better understand what they may be struggling with and why, and how best to overcome the challenges they face.
I am particularly passionate about working with people with eating disorders and have extensive experience in anorexia nervosa. I have a diploma in Excellence in Practitioner Skills for Eating Disorders from the National Centre for Eating Disorders. I work with people to help them to gain control over their eating disorders in a safe and supportive way.
