Hello, I’m Dawid, a CBT counsellor at Breathe. My photo was taken in Cornwall last year. As you can see I enjoy being in nature (look at that smile). I can walk on cliffs for miles, this really relaxes me.
Following on from my Psychology Degree (Hons), I have been extensively trained in Cognitive-Behavioural psychotherapy at the University of South Wales. Currently, I’m working towards accreditation with The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I’ve been a part of the Breathe crew since February 2019.
I can support people with depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, addictions, PTSD, chronic pain, depersonalisation and other issues. I have experience working with people from sexual and cultural minorities as well as with neurodiverse groups such as ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia etc.
I like to take my dog and my lovely wife for walks too. I play with my band when I have time, do martial arts and I’m trying to learn really, really hard to learn how to dance flamenco.
