Qualified Integrative Counsellor

My name is Silvia and I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor, working with adults. I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

It is you that matters. Through counselling, you can gain an understanding and explore yourself whilst learning new ways to approach life. I offer a listening ear in a safe, non-judgmental, empathic space. I will be alongside on your journey of (re)discovery and connection to yourself and others in our therapeutic relationship.

I use several counselling approaches – integrating humanistic and person-centred therapy as well as gestalt therapy, which focuses on work in the here and now. I also use cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) tools, mindfulness and a solution-focused approach – tailoring counselling to your needs.

By raising your self-awareness, I can help you to understand where you are, how you got there and where you want to head in life. This can lead to making conscious choices to change unhelpful patterns in your thoughts, beliefs, behaviours and emotions. Sessions will be defined by your goals and needs as it is you who is writing or rewriting your own story.

I have experience working with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, loneliness, isolation, panic, bereavement, loss, identity issues, and relationship issues. I can offer counselling in German, deliver face-to-face, online, via telephone or ‘walk and talk’ in a suitable chosen outdoor space.

In my spare time, I like being in nature, cycling, crafting and spending time with my family and our two cats.
