Tracey S

Qualified Humanistic and CYP Counsellor

Hi, I am Tracey, I am a qualified Humanistic (person-centered) and children and young person Counsellor, registered with BACP and UKATA.

I’m experienced in working with people who have experienced domestic abuse, gangs, and cults. I also work with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, panic attacks, childhood trauma, suicidal ideation, and people affected by suicide, low self-esteem, and confidence.

I work Integratively and use several therapeutic approaches in my practice which are, Humanistic/Person Centred, CBT, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Emotion Focused Therapy and often use Sandtray in my practice.

I have experience living in two other countries other than the UK. I lived in Romania as an aid worker in an orphanage for three and a half years and lived in South Sinai, Egypt for eight and a half years, only returning to the UK five years ago. The experience of living in different countries has provided me with an awareness of different cultures, beliefs, and values.
